1. The Magic of Scouting--specifically designed to get your children excited about your latest fundraising drive and/or to reward your scout troop for all their hard efforts. 2. Workshops--Custom designed balloon-twisting and/or magic workshops that teach sequential learning skills, and which reinforce the central messages and themes of the Magic of Scouting assembly program. THE MAGIC OF SCOUTING! assembly program is designed to motivate and educate young scouts as to the latest fundraising drive. It can also be incorporated as a rewards banquet for all of your scouts' hard efforts. Each magic show I present runs 45 minutes and uses custom designed scout themed magic. HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS: This program consists of magic, comedy, and audience participation with lots of surprises, smiles, and good clean fun for the entire family. Employing custom, scout-themed magic, one child will have the chance to 'lose his/her head.' During the program--much to everyone's surprise and delight--Richard brings out his special assistant SNOWBALL, a real-live, Netherlands dwarf rabbit. THE MAGIC WORKSHOP is an optional, 30 minute workshop that reinforces the central messages and themes of the Magic of Scouting assembly program. The workshops are limited to up to 30 children per workshop. I can complete up to four workshops for your scouts. Workshops can be specifically tailored to fulfill your scout's obligations for their 'magic' merit badges. HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS: Richard starts by giving the students an opportunity to ask questions about the art of magic. From there he goes on to teach the students sequential learning skills by showing your scouts how to break down a magic trick in steps in order to accomplish it. Can you imagine the excitement when the magic happens right in your children's hands? Richard ends the workshop with a motivational message about a one-handed magician and then reminds the students that they can be anything that they want to be in life with hard work and persistence.
